We won't be having a set Christmas menu as such but instead having lots of yummy festive specials on our every day menu throughout December for you to choose from.
To start to get you in the Christmas mood we thought we'd tease you with some of our special festive dishes that will be appearing on our menu come December alongside our pub favourites:
Starters
Parsnip, sage & white bean soup with parsnip crisps and chive crème fraiche (v, vg, gfo)
Red lentil, chickpea, smoked paprika & sherry vinegar paté with flatbread, roast peppers & olives (v,vg,gfo)
Lamb breast fritters with minted salsa verde, crumbled feta and charred baby gem
Traditional prawn cocktail with Marie Rose sauce, tomato & shredded iceberg and seeded bread
Pressed ham hock, black pudding & green peppercorn terrine with pineapple ginger chutney and dark rye bread (gfo)
Mains
Rosemary butter roast turkey with smoked bacon & sage stuffing, Cumberland pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, sticky apple red cabbage, grain mustard roast parsnips, baked shallot & chestnut sprouts (gfo)
Grilled cod loin with curried, potato & vegetable chowder, cauliflower bhaji, spinach, mango chutney & crispy chili shallots (gf)
Slow braised rolled beef shin with glazed Welsh rarebit, stout braised onions, colcannon mash potato & roast honey carrots (gf)
Moroccan spiced sweet & sour butternut squash tagine with honey, preserved lemon, toasted pine nuts & coriander served with braised saffron & apricot cous cous (vg, v,gf)
Venison haunch, smoked pancetta, root vegetable & red wine cottage pie with sticky red cabbage & charred leeks (gf)

Luxury Christmas pudding with fig & orange compote and brandy sauce

Pre Orders
If you are booking a table for more than 8 people then we will need a pre order from you no later than 2 days before your booking, this can be done online and will be emailed across to you in advance.
Wines & Champagnes
We will happily suggest some options for wines and champagnes if you would like to organise these in advance of your party, please just ask if you want some help choosing!
Large Party Bookings
Our online booking system will allow bookings for a maximum of 6 people. If you would like to book for more than this then please give the pub an email on info@ring-o-bells.co.uk to discuss your requirements.
